Media

I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been invited to make a contribution on platforms which have an impact and tangible influence on society.

Media is a powerful tool to help reach people and connect with them.

Writing and speaking are my passions and it is a privilege to harness those skills in my advocacy work in mental health.

Being truthful and authentic in sharing my journey is something that I hope will positively advance the narrative relating to the lives of those who live with mental illness and to shift the paradigm relating to stigma towards those like me.

May every interview that is listened to and every article that is read; serve to inspire, enlighten, educate and empower.

YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH SUMMIT, NAMIBIA

I had an incredible time spent in beautiful Namibia for their youth mental health summit hosted by the One Economy Foundation

‘Break Free Mental Health Conversation’

This event was expected to draw attendees including adolescents, youth, parents, teens living positively with HIV, survivors of SGBV, their families, and frontline service providers such as social workers, psychologists, psychological counsellors, mental health youth advocates, life skills teachers, and religious leaders.

I’m honoured by the invitation and opportunity to share my insights and hope that my contributions made a lasting impact.
